Arrive at BELFAST Airport where you will be met and assisted to the SLIEVE DONARD HOTEL, Newcastle.
Located in the town of Newcastle at the foot of the majestic Mourne Mountains and adjacent to the hallowed fairways of Royal County Down, the Slieve Donard Hotel is one of those hotels that select themselves
Later, play your first round at ARDGLASS GOLF CLUB.
Check out from the hotel and travel onward to check into the BUSHMILLS INN.
It’s rare that a particular accommodation can have as important an influence on your overall experience as the golf courses you have travelled to play but this is very much the case with Bushmills Inn.
Later, play at PORTSTEWART GOLF CLUB (STRAND).
Play at ROYAL PORTRUSH GOLF CLUB (DUNLUCE LINKS).
Located on the spectacular Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland, Royal Portrush Golf Club boasts two superb links courses, the Valley Links and the renowned Dunluce Links.
After breakfast, check out and travel to Donegal and check into the ROSAPENNA HOTEL & GOLF RESORT.
Set alongside Sheephaven Bay, this upscale hotel and golf resort has 2 championship courses with dramatic views of Downings Beach. It's 12.1 km from Doe Castle and 19.3 km from Ards Forest Park.
Later, play at BALLYLIFFIN GOLF CLUB.
Play at ROSAPENNA GOLF CLUB.
Less well known internationally only due to its relatively remote but picturesque location on the northern Donegal coastline, the two exceptional links courses here should be included on any pilgrimage to play the lesser-known gems of Irish links golf.
After a hearty Irish breakfast, check into the HARVEY'S POINT COUNTRY HOUSE.
Located just outside the town of Donegal, Harvey’s Point boasts a stunning location on the shores of Lough Eske and staying here will prove a real highlight of any trip.
Later, play at NARIN & PORTNOO GOLF CLUB.
Play at DONEGAL GOLF CLUB.
Donegal Golf Club is the ideal golfing stop en-route from Northern Ireland or Ballyliffin to the great links courses of the Irish Northwest. There is little pomp or ceremony surrounding this club, it’s just an excellent golf links.
After a delicious Irish breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel to SLIGO Airport.

Lying just 40 minutes from Royal County Down, Ardglass is situated on a stunning stretch of coastline and offers a great experience on what is best described as a fun golf course. Measuring less than 6,300 yards from the back stakes, length is not the issue at Ardglass and while it is certainly playable, it requires a well thought out approach to each hole.
Located on the same stretch of coastline as the world-renowned links of Royal Portrush, Portstewart Golf Club boasts a magnificent setting on the famous Causeway Coast. The golf club offers 54 holes of links golf but it is the Championship Strand Course that is the jewel in the crown.
Located on the spectacular Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland, Royal Portrush Golf Club boasts two superb links courses, the Valley Links and the renowned Dunluce Links. Obviously you will want to play the Dunluce Links but the Valley is a more than worthy sibling and is worth playing in its own right or as part of a 36-hole day.
Designed around imposing dunes, the Glashedy Links at the world-famous Ballyliffin Golf Club has earned notoriety for its devilish bunkers and huge rolling greens, but also for its captivating mountain and ocean views. Unlike its sibling Old Links, Glashedy is laid out up in the wild a bit further inland and is devoid of any “weak holes”. Having hosted the North West of Ireland Open in 2002, Ladies Irish Open in 1998 and more recently, the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2018, it is a true test of championship links golf.
Less well known internationally only due to its relatively remote but picturesque location on the northern Donegal coastline, the two exceptional links courses here should be included on any pilgrimage to play the lesser-known gems of Irish links golf. The Rosapenna Hotel on-site is the ideal base from which to play both courses and if you are in the area for more than a few days, then it’s a perfect opportunity to play Portsalon too.
Narin and Portnoo Golf Club is situated in a beautiful seaside resort in southwest Donegal. Opened in 1930, it is engagingly old fashioned with a meandering routing over and around the dunes. The course has recently been re-developed and the new par 73 layout offers a range of teeing areas and challenges to suit all golfers.
Similar to County Sligo, Donegal Golf Club is the ideal golfing stop en-route from Northern Ireland or Ballyliffin to the great links courses of the Irish Northwest. Measuring over 7,000 yards from the medal tees, Donegal was designed by Eddie Hackett and officially opened for play in 1976 although the layout has undergone considerable alterations since, most of which have been carried out under the direction of Pat Ruddy.
