Designed by the masterful “Golden Bear”, the course offers majestic sculptured bunkers, a strategic use of the natural landscape and some unique water hazards. Mature woodlands and windswept beaches - Golfers will be captivated by two 18-hole championship Ocean and Forest courses designed by Gary Player. The 18-hole Ocean Course and the first nine holes of the 18-hole Forest Course opened for play in October 1998 and December 2000 respectively.
Play at Bintan Lagoon Baker Finch Woodlands Course.
Designed with the front nine holes snaking out from the resort and the back nine to the clubhouse, the Woodlands course has been laid over dramatically changing terrain. The main feature of this course is the large undulation of the natural landscape. The overall concept for the Ian Baker-Finch course was to work closely with the natural site.

Five tees make the Golden Bear's Sea View course very playable for golfers of all handicaps. Factor in the cooling winds, which blow in from the South China Sea, and you can find yourself in a quandary over club selection, especially at the signature hole which plays directly towards the sea. This is certainly one of Indonesia's finest seaside holes.
The Ocean golf course at Ria Bintan offers two distinct playing atmospheres. The course cuts through the native jungle of Riau, where you are more likely to come upon monkeys, small deer or wild boar than other humans. It also has its seaside holes and it’s these holes that will be best remembered by visiting golfers.
