Canada Escorted Tour 2010

PRE-TOUR - 5th June

Pre tour we have included as part of the 2010 package one night at the 5-Star Calgary Fairmont Palliser for all to get over jet lag and your chance to take a look around Calgary the cowboy city.

Day 1 - 6th June

Welcome lunch at the Calgary Fairmont Palliser. A short travel into the Rockies to Canmore - stay ski lodge for next 3 nights.

Day 2 - 7th June

Play Kananaskis

Day 3 - 8th June

Play Stewart Creek or Banff Springs

Day 4 - 9th June

Full travel day from Canmore to Banff to enjoy a morning sight-seeing this famous town then onto Lake Louise for a Champagne Picnic Brunch hosted by PaR nz, additional stops at Lake Morrain and Radium. Then onto Panorama. This is a spectacular day’s travel with much wildlife normally seen on route. Stay 3 nights in ski lodges in Invermere Valley which is a popular winter ski village and summer retreat.

Day 5 - 10th June

Day 7 - 12th June

Travel to Kelowna (another day when cameras need to be at the ready travelling through the Glacier National Park) - and onto Predator Ridge Golf Course and Lodge. This has become a highlight over recent tours where the group can chill out for five days at this prestigious luxurious golf resort, catch up on washing and spreading out in roomy lodges overlooking the course. During this week we also take time to have a half way BBQ dinner to check out the scores on the fun daily golf competition.

Day 12 - 17th June

Travel over the Duffy Lake Road via Lillooet the gold mine town to Whistler – another day for the camera. Three nights hotel accommodation right in the heart of Whistler village.

Day 13 - 18th June

Play Nicklaus North

Day 14 - 19th June

Play Chateau Whistler

Day 15 - 20th June

Play Furry Creek on route to ferry crossing to Vancouver Island and stay three nights in hotel style accommodation right in the city of Victoria which is a fantastic city surrounded in English history.

Day 16 - 21st June

Day off from golf to explore this great city, lots visit the famous Butchart Gardens, go whale watching, water taxi tours of the house boats, great shopping, lots to see and do.

Day 17 - 22nd June

Play Arbitus Ridge

Day 18 - 23th June

Play Olympic View then catch the late afternoon ferry back to Vancouver – stay 2 nights 5-Star Vancouver Fairmont in downtown area.

Day 19 - 24th June

Our final round of golf is scheduled to play Mayfair Lakes or Northview before our farewell 3 course dinner and prize giving.

Day 20 - 25th June

The tour ends with a group breakfast on the morning of the 25th June

Sunday 6th June 2010 departure, to what some say is “the best golf destination in the world” – The tour starts in Calgary with a welcome lunch and travels west through the Rockies via different golf regions to Vancouver where there is a final group banquet.

For partners there are many activities and attractions at all our venues and golf courses – not least the endless list of outdoor activities. In Calgary, Whistler, Kelowna, Victoria and Vancouver – there is some great shopping to be had.
